Supplement your Cosmetology License

The Hair Arts Institute barbering crossover course will provide a pathway to create modern, wearable, masculine hair at any length as well as any hair texture.
You will study classic barbering techniques such as the art of shaving, clipper work, and scissor over comb together with modern precision cutting on longer hair.
This course is designed to give you the confidence and skill set to pass the Oklahoma State Board exam and to forge a successful career in a modern barber-style grooming.

Careers in Barbering

While the Hair Arts Institute cannot guarantee employment for Graduates, assistance in finding suitable employment is provided by posting area job openings. Students also receive classroom training on how to write a resume, complete an employment application, and prepare for an effective interview. This is an excellent opportunity for our students to obtain professional salon exposure, secure future employment, and easily transition from school to work.

Our barber crossover program is 300 hours, meaning you could be licensed in as little as eight and a half weeks.
